Call for Contributions:

[...] This issue aims to explore theoretical and practical perspectives on how mediation can foster coexistence in educational spaces, addressing topics such as:

  • Mediation models and practices in school environments;
  • The role of citizenship and peace education in promoting school coexistence;
  • Restorative practices and restorative justice approaches in schools and universities;
  • School mediation and inclusion;
  • Mediator training in innovative educational practices and skills;
  • Experiences of mediation and coexistence in educational contexts.

Submissions may include scientific articles, essays, case studies, literature reviews, and experience reports that provide significant and original contributions to the field, fostering dialogue between theory and practice and expanding the possibilities for building a culture of peace in schools, universities, and other educational spaces.

Submissions must be made electronically after registering on the platform by February 26, 2025 (extended deadline). Authors are advised to carefully review the publication guidelines, available here.

 

Configurações: Revista de Ciências Sociais | ONGOING CALL FOR PAPERS

Configurações: Revista de Ciências Sociais, published by the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences – University of Minho Hub, is a journal indexed in international bibliographic databases, which has an open access policy and publishes unpublished academic works, in the form of articles or reviews of published works, which contribute to enriching scientific knowledge on relevant themes in the area of Social Sciences and, in particular, Sociology. 

Texts may be written in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English and will be submitted for independent review by experts on a double blind peer review basis. Further information on the Editorial Policy and the Scientific Review Process and Publication Decision can be found here.
